Athletic Development Fee
(mandatory fee) What is it used for?
The Student Athletics Development Fee is used to partially
fund, in conjunction with revenues from external sources, intercollegiate athletics at
IUPUI. In exchange, each student receives admission to all home Athletics contests.
Where does the income go?
100% of the income collected is distributed
directly to the IUPUI Athletics Department to support the programs described above.
I don't participate in sports; why do I have to pay
this fee?
This is not a fee for optional services, but a
mandatory fee assessed to all students. Often students and parents confuse this fee
with the fee for "recreational sports". The recreation fee is assessed
only to those who opt into the recreational sports services.
